Enrollment Date/Time

If you are enrolled in BBCC classes for credit, you will be assigned an Enrollment date and time for the following quarter. You will not be able to enroll in classes before your scheduled time. Please plan to meet with your advisor prior to this time. You can find your Enrollment Date and time in ctcLink.  Log in to ctcLink > Student Homepage > Manage Classes > Enrollment Dates > select the upcoming quarter to check your specific Enrollment Date and time.

Returning Student Process

• If you attended BBCC prior to Fall 2015 you will need to re-apply. Apply Now! Mark that you are a returning student so we can pull in your prior courses!
• If you attended BBCC Fall 2015 or later, you do not need to re-apply. Please email admissions@bigbend.edu for assistance getting started back at Big Bend.
• Check your ctcLink account for your Enrollment Date and time! Log in to ctcLink > Student Homepage > Manage Classes > Enrollment Dates > select the upcoming quarter to check your specific Enrollment Date and time.
• Students with fewer than 30 earned credits are required to meet with their advisor prior to enrolling in classes. Your advisor will help you understand how to reach your goals, find essential resources on our website and campus, and select your classes.
• Students with 30 or more earned credits are not required to meet with their advisor prior to enrolling in classes. However, your advisor will help you select classes needed to complete your goals and will connect you with helpful resources. Please schedule an appointment with your advisor through Starfish.

Enrollment Procedures

All students intending to earn a certificate or degree must apply for admission.

New transfer students with 30 or more credits

1. Take English and Math placement assessments or submit alternative placement documentation. (Contact Kristin Young in the Testing Center at 509.793.2064 or TestingCenter@bigbend.edu for an appointment.)
2. Instructions on how to enroll in classes within ctcLink can be found HERE, or in video format HERE.
3. Pay your tuition and fees by the tuition due date. Log in to ctcLink > Student Homepage > Financial Account > Payments > Make a Payment.
4. Order your books through our online BBCC Bookstore: www.bbccbookstore.com.
5. Attend classes!

New students with 0-30 credits

1. Take English and Math placement assessments or submit alternative placement documentation. (Contact Kristin Young in the Testing Center at 509.793.2064 or TestingCenter@bigbend.edu for an appointment.)
2. Complete Online Viking Orientation (required) and sign-up for a New Student Enrollment session. You will meet with an advisor and enroll in classes during that session. Dates of New Student Enrollment sessions and a link to reserve your spot can be found at the end of Online Viking Orientation.
3. Pay your tuition and fees by the tuition due date.
4. Order your books through our online BBCC Bookstore: www.bbccbookstore.com.
5. Attend classes!

Students who do not enroll in and attend classes within one year of applying for admission must reapply.
