If you are enrolled in BBCC classes for credit you will be assigned a registration access time for the following quarter. This access time is for registration only. It is your responsibility to arrange to meet with your advisor prior to this time. To find out when you register, visit BBCC’s home page at https://dev.bigbend.edu. Select Student Kiosk and then Registration Access Time.
You will need a Quarterly PIN to register. If you have earned fewer than 30 credits when registration begins, you will be assigned a random PIN. You must meet with an advisor to get the PIN. It is used only for registering for classes for this quarter. For other tasks, such as viewing your transcript, use your Global PIN, which is the 6 numbers of your birth date (mmddyy) unless you changed it.
If you have earned at least 30 credits, your Quarterly PIN is the same as your Global PIN.
You may register online at Big Bend’s home page, dev.bigbend.edu. Select Student Kiosk. Select Class Schedule Planner to have the computer system help you design a schedule. Select Register for Classes to sign up for classes. You will not be allowed to register for classes before your scheduled access time (except for zero credit courses).
Returning student process
Students who were previously admitted and have attended Big Bend Community College in the past may register for classes without re-applying. You must contact the Student Services office at (509) 793-2061 or email firstname.lastname@example.org in advance so that your quarterly PIN can be created. You cannot register without a quarterly PIN. If you have earned fewer than 30 credits, you must meet with an advisor to get your quarterly PIN. If you have completed 30 or more credits, the quarterly PIN set up will be the same as your global PIN. The default global PIN is the six numbers of your date of birth, formatted mmddyy (only the last two digits of your birth year). Be sure to keep this number in a safe place. You will need it for any schedule changes during the quarter, and to check or change your waitlist status.
If you have ever been enrolled at BBCC you may register for classes beginning the first day following current student registration access times. You will not be allowed to register before this time (except for zero credit courses) unless you were admitted and call for an appointment time. You will be given an access time based on the total number of credits you have completed. Call the Student Services office at (509) 793-2061 for more information. Students who do not register for and attend classes within one year of applying for admission must reapply.
Check “Registration Access Time” in the Student Kiosk each quarter for your individual date and time. You may register online or in person at the Student Services office. You will need your quarterly PIN. Former students and new transfer students with at least 30 credits may register Friday of registration week for current students. New students must attend New Student Registration.. New transfer students (30 or more credits) must meet with an advisor, and obtain a signature or their quarterly PIN. All students who have earned fewer than 30 credits must meet with an advisor before registering. You may get your Quarterly PIN from your advisor and register online at or after your access time, or have your advisor sign a paper registration form. You may register for classes through the first day of school. ALL students must have an instructor’s signature to add any classes beginning the first day of each quarter.
If you have not applied for admission and do not plan to pursue a degree or certificate, you may register during open registration each quarter, if space is available and you meet any prerequisites for a class. From the Class Schedule page, check Important Dates for the quarter for specific dates.

Tuition is due at the time of registration for all classes added after the tuition due date.
To drop classes online, go to the Student Kiosk, click on Register for Classes. Select the correct quarter. Enter your SID & Quarterly PIN. Click Register. Note that refunds end after the third week of classes. Click Continue. Your schedule will appear in a grid. Enter the item number for the class you want to drop in one of the empty boxes on the left. Click the Add/Drop button. A box will pop up, warning you that you are dropping a specific class. Verify that it is the correct class, then click OK. During the first 2 weeks of the quarter, the class will disappear. After that, the class will stay on your schedule (and subsequently on your transcript). In the Kiosk it will say “withdrawn”. An estimate of the refund credit you may receive will be shown on your schedule.
