Cellarbration! raises record $108,169 for scholarships

Cellarbration! for Education, the BBCC Foundation’s annual scholarship fundraiser, reported gross receipts of $108,169 on May 16.

The amount broke last year’s record of $104,031 in gross receipts for the event that features a gourmet wine dinner, silent auction, and live auction. More than 200 people attended the event this year.

The evening ended with more than $15,000 in donations for the Intervention Scholarship Fund, which helps students in good standing cope with financial emergencies so they can stay in school.
