Big Bend volleyball drops home matches to Grays Harbor, Linn-Benton

Big Bend volleyball came up short in their first two home matches of the season, falling to Grays Harbor and Linn-Benton.

The Vikings are winless on the season at 0-8, going 0-6 at the Northwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Showcase.
 
Big Bend opened its home scheduled Wednesday night against Grays Harbor and started strong, winning the opening set 25-13. But the Vikings dropped the next three sets 20-25, 16-25, 13-25.

Sophomore Savannah Bass led the Vikings with 27 assists and added 13 digs, while freshman JoAndra Wilson finished with seven kills.
 
On Thursday against Linn-Benton, Big Bend managed just 14 total kills in the match and were swept 3-0.
