Big Bend Runs into Tough Linn-Benton Squad, Falls 3-0

Big Bend ran into a tough defensive squad at home Thursday afternoon as the Roadrunners from Linn-Benton (11-3) kept more than half of the Lady Vikings attacks from hitting the floor racking-up 45 digs and taking all three games inside the DeVries Center.

The Lady Vikings managed just 14 total kills in the match with freshman JoAndra Wilson leading the team with five. Sophomores Madison Powers and Natalie Yergensen added 3 and 2 respectively.

Big Bend was scheduled to travel to Clackamas CC today and tomorrow (Sept. 8-9) but the two-day tournament has been cancelled. The Lady Vikings (0-9) will next suit up on Wednesday (Sept. 13) on the road at North Idaho College (9-2) in Coeur d’ Alene, ID.
