The Rho Zeta chapter at BBCC celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2017, receiving its charter Nov. 17, 1967. To be eligible students must maintain a grade point average of at least 3.5 and have a recommendation from a faculty member. Students must be enrolled for at least 15 academic hours during the current semester, and must have completed at least 15 semester hours.

Inductees took the membership oath, and the evening featured guest speaker Jeremy Seda, the college’s web and multimedia specialist and IT accessibility coordinator.

College president Terry Leas and honor society sponsor Barbara Whitney “then presented each new member with a white rose,” said Matthew Killebrew, BBCC director of communications.
