Marguerite Finch: Art Instructor

Marguerite Finch is a Fine Art Instructor and interdisciplinary sculpture/performance artist. She received her BFA in Sculpture from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire (2016) and her MFA from Washington State University (2018). Through her work, she has explored her experiences growing up on a Wisconsin farm and confronting modern agriculture’s inequities. Her mediums include metalworking and casting, laser-cut acrylic and wood, found objects, and 3D Printed plastic.

Scott Hagel: Art Instructor

Scott Hagel earned his Master of Fine Arts degree from Washington State University. His work has been in numerous solo and group art exhibitions around the PNW. Currently, Scott is writing and illustrating a horror fantasy trilogy – both in novel and comic forms.

Sarah Barnett: Art Instructor

Sarah Barnett is a painter from North Texas, presently living and working in Eastern Washington State. Sarah earned her BFA from the University of North Texas (2018) and received her MFA from Washington State University (2022). Sarah has exhibited nationally and internationally and is a 2023 recipient of the Artist Trust Fellowship Award. A devoted oil painter, Sarah’s paintings are highly representational and heavily distorted, with themes of mortality, self-preservation, the human body, and technology. She works as a studio-based artist, college-level instructor, private art mentor, and is involved with her community as a public art project manager for a local non-profit. Sarah is currently represented by Gallery110 in Seattle, WA.
