About

Andrea Elliott comes to Big Bend Community College with a Master’s in Human Services Counseling, and a background in applying communication strategies in the business setting. Her passion is teaching students how to become communication investigators, looking into why people act and react the way they do across a broad range of settings. Andrea knows from her own experiences working within Health Education Departments, Professional Technical Departments, and the Social Sciences, that if students are able to analyze and understand communication patterns they will be able to apply communication concepts to any career.
