Lady Vikings start practice for 2014 season

Volleyball players are the first students to return from summer break at Big Bend Community College, starting practices more than a month before the start of fall classes.

The Lady Vikings started practicing on August 15 under new head coach Steve Duncan. Twelve players are practicing three times per day leading up to the first matches at the Highline Fall Classic Invitational on August 29-30.

The Vikings start league play on their home court Sept. 17 against Community Colleges of Spokane.
