The Big Bend Lady Vikings held on to beat Highline 70-63 on Thursday.
Big Bend shot just 32 percent from the field but held the Thunderbirds to just 1-for-8 from three-point range.
The Vikings opened up an 18-6 lead after the first quarter and were up 33-23 at half despite their offensive struggles.
In the fourth quarter, Highline got within four before the Vikings went on a 12-0 run to go up 66-50 after a pair of free throws from Maddie Williams.
