A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu seminar in Ephrata on Saturday will help fund scholarships for college students attending Big Bend Community College.
Proceeds go toward the “Promoting Positive Change” scholarship fund to help students showing interest in public service and community engagement, and are the first in their family to attend college.
Luis Alvarez, of Imperial JITZ in Ephrata, is in charge of the seminar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 23, at the Ephrata High School.
