Big Bend women’s basketball looks primed to make a push for the NWAC tournament after dominating non-region play with an 11-2 record.
The Big Bend Lady Vikings returned from holiday break to compete in the Skagit Holiday Tournament hosted by Skagit Valley College. The Vikings had the opportunity to replay Skagit Valley and Edmonds, two teams they blew out earlier in the year. Big Bend won handily against the two opponents, winning by 79-64 and 80-60 respectively.
Big Bend ended the tournament by playing Bellevue, a team that beat them in a preseason scrimmage. Bellevue appears to have Big Bend’s number, and the Vikings fell 76-63.
