BBCC honors group shines at regional conference

Honor Group bring home awards

The honors society for students attending Big Bend Community College brought home top awards at the Greater Northwest Region 2015 awards for Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) March 21 in Seattle.

PTK is the international honors society for community and technical colleges.

BBCC’s Rho Zeta Chapter received first place in the DiBraun Fine Arts Award and the Yearbook Award. Rho Zeta Chapter also was recognized as the Most Congenial Chapter at the regional conference.

  • Continued Excellence Award for PTK Advisors, First Place: Barbara Whitney (BBCC Math instructor)
