Big Bend Community College’s annual Star Scholars Luncheon celebrates the connection between scholarship recipients and the generous donors who make their educational journeys possible. This special fall gathering provides students the opportunity to share their gratitude while highlighting the real impact of donor support.
Guests and students enjoy lunch and meaningful conversation, creating a space where donors can see firsthand how their contributions are transforming lives.
“It’s one thing to write a check and support education, but to see and talk with the exact students they are helping really drives home how much our donors are making a difference,” said Big Bend Director of Communications Matt Killebrew. “Being able to put a face to a name, and hear directly the impact they are having on the lives of students, makes this event one of the most special of the year.”
Cellarbration! for Education is the BBCC Foundation’s premier annual auction gala—a night filled with excitement, generosity, and community spirit. Guests can bid on an incredible selection of live, silent, and dessert auction items, ranging from unique treasures to one-of-a-kind experiences. It’s an evening that blends fun and philanthropy, all in support of student success.
Attendees enjoy a gourmet multi-course dinner thoughtfully paired with prestigious local wines, while knowing that every bid placed directly supports BBCC students. Proceeds provide scholarships for workforce education, returning students, baccalaureate and Running Start students, graduating seniors from each of the 19 high schools in our service district, athletic students, and late-season students. Funds raised also help students facing unexpected financial challenges stay on track toward their educational goals.

Join us for a lively night of BINGO with a Big Bend twist! Hosted at the popular Moses Lake Taproom, this community fundraiser combines fun, fellowship, and a chance to support BBCC students in a meaningful way.
The taproom features a rotating selection of regional craft beers, Washington wines, ciders, seltzers, and non-alcoholic beverages, along with a limited menu of food options to enjoy while you play. With exciting prizes and plenty of energy, it’s no wonder BINGO nights at the taproom are always a hit!
