A solid grounding in the sciences is required to work with tomorrow’s technology. If you have reached this page, you must have an interest in engineering. At BBCC you can take courses which will prepare you for a bachelor’s degree in engineering, which you can complete at a four-year college or university.
While we have always offered courses that will let you take mathematics up to the level of College Calculus, as well as Engineering Physics and General Chemistry, in the near future you will be able to take even more courses. Through a STEM Grant, BBCC will be adding courses in the next few years that will allow a student from BBCC to transfer into engineering Bachelor’s degree programs at the junior level. If you would like information about these upcoming courses, contact James Sauceda.
Our courses can prepare you for degrees in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology , and other engineering disciplines. On the left are links to pages that will discuss some particular fields, with links to external web sites that can tell about them. There will also be links to some of the colleges in the state of Washington that offer engineering degrees in those disciplines.
