AMT Degrees and Certificates

University Transfer Option

Students who are interested in continuing their education after earning an Associate in Applied Science degree may do so by taking additional courses at Big Bend prior to transferring.  Students may pursue a Bachelor of Science in an Aviation Maintenance Management Degree at Central Washington University (CWU).

Associate of Applied Science Degree

The AAS degree provides students a broad range of industry-driven knowledge and skills that also meet FAA requirements.  The degree builds on a number of short and mid-term certificates for those exploring the world of Aviation Maintenance Technology.

Certificates of Achievement

The Certificate of Achievement is designed to provide recognition for the student who does not intend on completing the entire degree program.  This certificate includes related instruction and a minimum of 45 credits in the program.  All courses may be applied toward the AMT Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree.

Certificates of Accomplishment

The Certificate of Accomplishment is designed to provide recognition of completion of certain approved courses or small modules of courses offered through a particular technical program. This certification is designed for the occasional and or part time student that does not plan to complete an AAS degree or Certificate of Achievement.

BBCC upon request by application, may issue Certificates of Accomplishment upon successful completion of the following approved modules with an earned minimum grade of 2.0 for each course.
