Career Outlook

A computer science bachelor’s degree prepares students to work in careers such as software development, computer programming, and scientific computing

Future Education Opportunities

The Associate in Computer Science DTA/MRP degree prepares students for transfer to a four-year university to complete a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Graduates may be able to transfer with junior status with all or most prerequisites for the computer science major completed. Since programs differ at each college, students should consult program outlines in the catalog of the college or university to which they plan to transfer. Students should prepare their quarterly schedules with the assistance of an advisor knowledgeable in the transfer area and the requirements of the intended college or university.
