ENGL 098/099 and CSS 100 for Fall 2020

 

Students who place into ABE level English may enroll in ENGL 098 depending on the needs of the student. If students wish to improve English language skills, they should check with the BEdA program. If students wish to earn high school credits, they should check with the BEdA program.

 

All ENGL 098 and ENGL 099 classes are online and provide an accelerated ENGL & 101 opportunity. Students earn ENGL 098, ENGL 099, or ENGL & 101 depending on their demonstrated competencies by the end of the quarter.

 

No textbooks are required. 

We know that students may be concerned about completing their classes remotely, so we would like them to know that we have many alternatives and supports in place to ensure a successful quarter regardless of their situations. We plan to assess individual need during the first week of the quarter.
