KEY: F = Fall, W = Winter, Sp = Spring, Su = Summer

  • Decide on your transfer school as early as possible
  • Get to college-level math as soon as possible.
  • MATH&151 is strongly recommended in the first year for most transfer colleges.

Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer

Currently, degree can be completed online (all 4 CS classes are offered online, and this assumes that the other gen ed required classes are available online). Hybrid offerings also available.

95+ Credits = 6 Quarters* if you take 15-20 credits each quarter

*Your specific route may take longer than 6 quarters depending on the number of credits you take each quarter and where you start in your math and English pathways.

A computer science bachelor’s degree prepares students to work in careers such as software development, computer programming, and scientific computing

The Associate in Computer Science DTA/MRP degree prepares students for transfer to a four-year university to complete a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Graduates may be able to transfer with junior status with all or most prerequisites for the computer science major completed. Since programs differ at each college, students should consult program outlines in the catalog of the college or university to which they plan to transfer. Students should prepare their quarterly schedules with the assistance of an advisor knowledgeable in the transfer area and the requirements of the intended college or university.
