What is “Manufacturing Process Technologies,” you ask.  It’s the study and practice of integrating traditional tools and equipment with modern technology into a single system.  This may include working with robotics, communications (wired and wireless), electronics, motors, pumps, electricity, pneumatic equipment, hydraulics, and CNC equipment.  

Manufacturing and Process Technology provides students the ability to specialize their training to work in a variety of industry settings in our area including manufacturing facilities, data centers, food or chemical processing plants, and other businesses with a need for regular facility or equipment maintenance.

 

  1. Communicate effectively and respectfully using verbal, written, and computer skills
  2. Students will be able to reason mathematically using methods appropriate to the profession
  3. Students will be able to demonstrate teamwork and/or workplace specific skills related to human relations.
  4. Conduct measurements, analyze and interpret data, and propose methods for resolving problems
  5. Assist with the research, planning, and completion of projects, with consideration for processes, budgets, material, and time
  6. Draft, modify, and/or interpret technical drawings
