Completion of the Associate of Arts & Sciences degree for Elementary Education (BBCC) and the Elementary Education Teacher Program (CWU) prepares students to teach in grades K-8.

The AA&S DTA represents the broad knowledge generally acquired in the first two years of a four-year program leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree. When students earn the AA&S DTA as lined out here for Elementary Education at CWU, they may transfer to CWU and apply to the Teacher Certification program with all prerequisites met.
