Apply to BBCC Degrees & Certificates Advising Maps Contact Us

A degree in biological sciences opens the door to a wide variety of choices — from the health sciences to environmental technology, from biomedical research to wildlife biology. The range of possibilities is limited only by students’ own interests, aptitudes, and imagination! Since programs differ at each of the four-year colleges, students should consider program outlines published by the college or university to which they intend to transfer. Students should prepare their quarterly schedules with the assistance of an advisor knowledgeable in this transfer area.

  1. Students will be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
  2. Students will be able to reason mathematically.
  3. Students will be able to demonstrate teamwork, ethics, appropriate safety awareness and/or workplace specific skills.
  4. Students will be able to recognize or articulate personal/interpersonal aspects of, or connections between, diverse cultural, social, or political contexts.
  5. Students will be able to solve problems by gathering, interpreting, combining and/or applying information from multiple sources.
