Student Right-to-Know

Big Bend Community College is pleased to provide the following information regarding our institution’s graduation and transfer-out rates. The information is provided in compliance with the “Student Right to Know and Campus Security Act” (P.L. 101-542), which was passed by Congress November 9, 1990.

 

Graduation Rate: 42%

IPEDS graduation rate of full-time, first-time, degree seeking undergraduates within 150% of normal time to completion (2018 cohort, students may also have transferred)

 

Transfer-out Rate: 12%

IPEDS transfer-out rate of full-time, first-time, transfer students who started in fall 2018 and transferred by fall 2024 but did not earn a credential.

 

Now that Big Bend offers a Bachelors of Applied Science in Applied Management, IPEDS reporting of Graduation Rates and Transfer Rates are calculated on a six-year basis rather than a three-year basis.
