BBCC celebrates 2026 Outstanding Student Award winners

MOSES LAKE — Big Bend Community College faculty recognized their top students from the 2025-26 academic year during a ceremony last week.

Thirty-one students from various disciplines were awarded the Outstanding Student designation this year. Top student-athletes were also recognized during the ceremony.

Students selected Sr. Associate Chemistry Professor Lindsay Groce and Accommodation and Accessibility Service Coordinator Aaron Glenn as their favorite faculty members of the year.

Yolanda Ibarra, Interim Dean of Student Services, was the students’ pick for Outstanding Staff Members of the year.
