Science Advising for Fall 2020
Biology and Chemistry, we are putting things all online. We had finalized those decisions
last week and they should be reflected on the online schedule. We are also trying
to get notes up about additional costs to students for lab kits, online simulations,
etc., but that will take a little time to research. We’ll try to update the notes
and you all as we’re able. I’m pretty sure Physics will follow suit, but I haven’t
heard 100% for sure yet.
As far as the times and whether students would be required to meet at the specific
times, we were instructed to list the class as “Hybrid” for those, so anything in
our area listed that way will probably have a virtual meeting time. Again, this is
all still a little bit “building the plane while flying”, but that’s the current thought.
For the Chemistry courses, at least the ones Sarah and I are teaching, they will all
be asynchronous and there won’t be set required meeting times.
