Ryker Pierce named Player of the Week by NWACSports  In two victories last week, Pierce tallied averages of 30.0ppg and 7.5 rebounds per game to go with 3 steals and a block to lead the top-ranked Vikings over Columbia Basin and Walla Walla. Pierce currently is in 6th in NWAC scoring (21.9ppg), 10th in FT% (81.9%) and 13th in 3PT% (44.2%)

Ryker Pierce, a freshman guard-forward for Big Bend Community College, has been selected men’s basketball player of the week by the Northwest Athletic Conference (NWAC).

Pierce, from Rexburg, Idaho, last week averaged 30 points and 7.5 rebounds per game to go with three steals and a block, leading the top-ranked Vikings to wins over Columbia Basin and Walla Walla.

Pierce is 6th in NWAC scoring (21.9 per game), 10th in free-throw percentage (81.9 percent), and 13th in three-point shooting (44.2 percent).

Pierce was recently appointed Vice President of the Big Bend Community College Associated Student Body to fill a vacancy.
