Nine Big Bend Community College baseball players have signed Letters of Intent to continue their careers at four-year colleges and universities.

The student-athletes were honored during a signing ceremony this week at the Peter D. DeVries Athletic Center.

New Vikings head coach Jameson Lange, who takes over after Pete Doumit retired after last season, said he expects all nine to excel both on the field and in the classroom.
“These are all exceptional young men,” Lange said. “They have great character and understand the importance of excelling in the classroom as well as on the playing field. I fully expect that these guys will not only succeed at the next level, but also in life.”

Big Bend baseball finished the season with a 25-17 record, 13-5 in the Northwest Athletic Conference East region.
