I grew up in Quincy, WA. After high school I attended Central Washington University. I got my Emergency Medical Technician in 2004. I graduated CWU in 2008 with a BS in Biology. After injuring my knee while training for the fire department, I decided to go back to school and get my Paramedic. I attended the Paramedic Program at CWU, completing the program in 2010 and obtaining a Paramedic BS in 2015. I worked 4 years as a full time Paramedic before having my son. Since having my son I have started transitioning to education. I teach multiple healthcare didactic and in 2017 I attended Big Bend Community College taking Medical Simulation classes. I completed the 5 coursed required for the Medical Simulation Technician certificate and I am please to be part of students journey into medical simulation!
