Tips

  • ACCT 105, Intro to Accounting, is recommended before taking ACCT&201.
  • Cumulative GPA must be 2.0 or higher

  • Instead of 3, 1-credit PEH activity courses you can take PEH 178 or 100 (3 credits)

Program Modality

This program can be completed entirely online. Some courses are offered on-campus, online, or hybrid (part on-campus, part online).

Length of Program

90 Credits = 6 Quarters* if you take 15 credits each quarter

*Your specific route may take longer than 6 quarters depending on the number of credits you take each quarter and where you start in your math and English pathways.

Career Outlook

A Business degree can lead to many careers in the business world, depending on the Baccalaureate degree you attain. The many career possibilities include finance, accounting, marketing, information systems, and entrepreneurship.

Future Education Opportunities

After completing the Business DTA you can transfer to a public or private Washington state university at junior standing. You will still need to apply to the program of your choosing. This degree prepares students to pursue the Bachelor or Applied Science – Applied Management at Big Bend Community College. Transfer opportunities include Baccalaureate degrees in business, finance, information systems, marketing, and more.
