Which Quarter can I begin?

The 2-year pathway starts in the Fall quarter, though courses may be started any quarter, this will extend time to degree.

This program is offered on campus or hybrid. Courses are offered on-campus, online, or hybrid (part on-campus, part online). 

Length of Program

94 Credits = 6 Quarters* if you take 12-17 credits each quarter

*Your specific route may take longer than 6 quarters depending on the number of credits you take each quarter and where you start in your math and English pathways.

Career opportunities include Farm Managers, Food Scientists, Agronomists, Ag Lab Researchers, Soil Test Personnel, and jobs with the USDA, Fish and Wildlife, the Bureau of Reclamation, the Department of the Interior, Extension agencies, and more!

Future Education Opportunities

This AAS-T degree program is designed to give students a strong foundation in the agricultural fields and aligns with the specific WSU majors within the Integrated Plant Sciences and Agricultural Food Systems degrees. Students completing this degree will be prepared to begin upper division work in agriculture at WSU.

Students can also pursue advanced Ag degrees at UW, University of Oregon, Boise State, University of Idaho, and EWU.
