Big Bend Community College Nursing

Application Requirements and Guidelines:

Apply for admission to Big Bend Community College here .  Acceptance to BBCC does not guarantee acceptance to the nursing program.

Application requirements for nursing program:

  • Please review the Nursing Program Application Packet  link towards the end of this page for important information including required immunizations. 2019 application and packet will be available January 2nd 2019.
  • Submit the Nursing Program Application to Registration office only.
  • Attach previous official college transcripts to your application. You do not need to submit transcripts for Big Bend courses.  If you have co-requisite courses in progress at another college, please submit documentation with your application to Registration. All transcript questions must be directed to Registration please contact them at 509-793-2061.
  • Attach a copy of your Washington State Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate.  Current WA licensure as an NA-C  (What is an NA-C ?)  is required (no substitutions) to begin the nursing program.  If you do not have your certificate yet, please be sure to indicate when you expect to meet this requirement.
  • Submit results of your TEAS assessment test electronically (must be the  TEAS Sixth Edition assessment test) to Big Bend Community College through ATI testing under products and transcripts. You will select Big Bend CC as the school to transfer your results. If you need to schedule a test date please contact the Big Bend CC testing center coordinator Kristin Young at 509-793-2064, e-mail, or go to ATI contact information  for other testing centers.
  • For application to be considered TEAS composite score must be 60% or greater and TEAS reading score must be 65% or greater.
  • Applications for Fall start will be accepted from March 15th through April 5th, 2019.
  • Nursing applications must go directly to Registration office only. Acceptance letters will be emailed or mailed by May 1st.
