Home > Programs > Running Start > How to enroll

  • Meet with a high school counselor to discuss interest in enrolling as a Running Start student.  Also have a counselor check equivalencies to high school requirements and verify college course eligibility.
  • Pre-pay for the BBCC English and mathematics placement tests at the campus cashier.  Each test requires a $5 fee.
  • Take BBCC English and mathematics placement tests.  Testing is required to determine eligibility.
  • Complete and submit the BBCC Application for Admission.  The application requires a $30 fee.
  • Meet with a high school counselor to complete the Running Start Authorization form and receive a counselor’s signature.
  • Attend a new student registration session, or meet with a BBCC counselor or faculty advisor to obtain a signature or assistance in registering for your first quarter classes.
