Big Bend Community College’s Nursing Program combines classroom work with skills laboratory and clinical experiences to provide students with a solid foundation of knowledge and experience. Nurses are educated to function in a variety of clinical situations that meet the diverse needs of individuals, their families, and communities. As students progress from simple to complex concepts, the primary goal of the school is to prepare students to become safe and responsible beginning practitioners.

Accreditations
- The Nursing Assistant - Certified (NAC) Program is approved by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services Aging and Disabilities Services Administration and the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission.
The Practical Nursing (PN) Program is approved by the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission and the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges.
The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) Program is approved by the Washington State Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission, the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges and the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC).
All programs at Big Bend Community College are approved by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU).
