Application guidelines:
Applications for Fall 2009 will be accepted from March 15 through April 15, 2009
Acceptance letters will be mailed by May 15th, 2009
Application Requirements:
Apply for admission to Big Bend Community College. You may apply online at www.bigbend.edu or through the Admissions/Registration office. Acceptance to BBCC does not guarantee acceptance to the nursing program.
o Fill out the Nursing Program Application. The application is available on the nursing program website and in this packet.
o Attach official high school/GED and or previous college transcripts to your application. You do not need to submit transcripts for Big Bend courses. If you have co-requisite courses in progress at another college, please submit documentation with your application.
o Attach a copy of your Washington State Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate. Current licensure as a CNA is required to begin the nursing program. If you do not have your certificate yet, please be sure to indicate when you expect to meet this requirement.
o Submit the results of the Critical Thinking and TEAS tests to Big Bend Community College Nursing Program. If you need to schedule a test date please contact Heidi Weisler at 509-793-2137 or by email heidiw@bigbend.edu. Please see the information on Critical Thinking and TEAS in this packet and on our website.
o Return the application packet to the Admissions/Registration Office by April 15, 2009.
