The netLibrary Collection: ebooks available 24/7

netLibrary is an easy-to-use, web-based system for accessing and retrieving full text reference, scholarly, and professional books that have been converted into digital format. These books are not meant to replace paper collections, but to provide quick access to materials that would not normally be read "cover to cover."

- results from your seaches now automatically include ebooks

Access is also available via the
netLibrary site.

NOTE: New ebooks are being added to the collection on a regular basis.  It can be several weeks before records are added to the library's online catalog.

In order to "checkout" or download ebooks you will be required to set up an account.  You must set up your account from a computer on the BBCC campus
(or Grand Coulee site).  Your account allows you to login to netLibrary from anywhere, on or off campus.

You may "preview" a book for 15 minutes or "check it out" for 12 hours.

THE COLLECTION


The library's collection currently includes 1,223 titles. (list of titles in Excel format)

The initial collection consists of books from the following areas:
  • Choice Outstanding Academic Books
    some of the most significant academic
    titles of recent years
  • Pacific Northwest
    books related to regional history or published by university presses in the region
  • Computer Science & Information Tech.
    books on programming languages,  operating systems, Microsoft   
    applications, the Internet etc.
  • Reference Works
    a broad spectrum of reference titles
  • The "Public Collection"
    netLibrary offers an extensive collection of public domain eBooks free of charge

Pages may only be printed one at a time.
