It’s so sad to hear of the passing of Alan, he was one of the first people I met when I came to live in the dorms. I could remember our pleasant conversations we had in passing, mostly about what I was going to do during the upcoming quarter break and the weather. He was such a nice person to talk to and would constantly ask how my father was doing, even though they had only met once. It is such a shame that we lost another great Big Bend Family member. Rest in peace Alan.

This makes me so sad to hear. Alen was my first friend at Big Bend. He was one of hardest workers I have ever met. I will always remember our many Conversations about sports. Go Red Sox, for Alan.

  10. Jim Tincher says:

Alan was a good man, friend and family man! We shared our love for our sports teams, my Mariners, his Red Sox, my Seahawks, his Patriots and our once a month Big Bend Viking Bowling Challenge bowling league. His team name was The Bulldogs, named after him, Bulldog, our nickname for him. He really enjoyed our bowling nights, spending time with his Big Bend family and I heard he was quite a dancer in the after bowling activities!! My heart goes out to Rosemarie and Raffaela(Little Bulldog) and the rest of their family! Alan will be so missed by me and anyone that knew him, still can’t believe he’s gone.

Alan and I worked together for many years, he was a fun person to work with and a close friend.
Alan had a good heart always ready to help anyone in need ,his family was his treasure he loved his wife and daughter as well as his inlaws. He warked extremely hard always kept two jobs to give his family the best he could, he was admired by eveyone at Chiswick as well as everyone in the Sate police barracks were he worked full time for many years.
I remember how Alan always dressed up for Haloween and made everyone laugh.
Alan will be missed by everyone that knew him, we have to consider how lucky we were to know him and treasure the memories he left behind. He wil live for ever in our hearts, may God give him eternal rest and help his wife and daughter as well as the rest of his family who he love so much get through the days a head.
