WELCOME EXHIBITORS
Connecting Employers with Job Seekers & Students
What to expect:
Big Bend Community College has a wide range of students with respect to age, background, etc. Students and community visitors may include: traditional college students 18-25 years, older returning students, students with families of their own, visitors with extensive education and/or training beyond the Associate Degree level, and visitors who are retraining and looking for a new career.
Handouts are important, but secondary to specific questions visitors may ask you. Please prepare a one or two-page job sheet with your company information. Feel free to use the sample job template. It is recommended that you bring a minimum of 200 copies. If necessary, a copy machine is available to print additional white copies only.
Setup and Check In:
Staff and volunteers at the Information Booth are available to assist you, including carrying items to and from your car. You may proceed directly to your table if you know your location or stop at the Information Booth for assistance.
Table Assignment and Floor Plan - 2008 Event
You may setup Wednesday, April 23 between 3 PM to 5 PM - or as early as 7:30 AM on Thursday, April 24. If a volunteer does not assist you, be sure to pick up your exhibitor packet at the Information Booth. The packet includes your name tag(s) and meal tickets.
The Hospitality Room (Executive Dining room 1871) opens at 7:30 AM. Join us for continental breakfast and "Business Before Hours." All exhibitors must be at their booth prior to the 9 AM start time. If you must leave your table for a short break, be sure a representative from your company remains, or leave a note so visitors will know when to come back and visit with you.
