Welcome to BBCC Financial Aid!

Financial aid can lower the cost of a Big Bend Community College education.  The Financial Aid Office will calculate your eligibility for aid using the federal and state financial aid regulations.  Your eligibility will be determined using the information you, and in some cases your parents, submit on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, FAFSA.  Your award may consist of any combination of grants, loans and/or work study.

Priority Funding Dates

  • Spring 2015 –  Feb 3, 2015
  • Summer/Fall 2015 – April 15, 2015

Use the 2014 – 2015 FAFSA to apply for Winter 2015 and Spring 2015 quarters.

You must reapply for financial aid each year. The 2015-2016 FAFSA will be available in January.  The 2015-16 Data Sheets are available now!  You will need both to apply for financial aid for quarters that start July 2015 or later.

The FAFSA, the Data Sheet and all requested documents must be received by the Financial Aid Office by the Priority Funding Date.

BBCC awards aid on a first come first serve rolling basis to eligible students.  Students who complete their applications early have a greater chance of receiving the full funding for which they are eligible.

Late applicants may have to pay more of their own tuition, books and living expenses.
