Student Tuition Easy Payment Plan

Font Size: Larger /Smaller

STEPP – The Student Tuition Easy Payment Plan makes college more affordable – because it allows you to pay for your education on a schedule that makes budgeting a snap. Payments are made in three installments throughout the quarter (two installments for summer quarter and the Commercial Driver’s License program). There is a $15.00 quarterly nonrefundable enrollment fee.

What does STEPP cover?

STEPP is for tuition and fees only. It does not cover books, fines, residence hall fees, or deposits.

How does STEPP work?

The advantage of STEPP is that you gain more flexibility to fit tuition and fee payments into your budget. Instead of making one single payment for the entire amount, you can enroll in STEPP and make up to three separate installments in the quarter interest free.

How do I enroll in the plan?

To be eligible for STEPP, you must enroll in the plan each quarter in which you enroll for classes.  Enrollment in STEPP is an easy two-step process:

  1. Complete a STEPP Enrollment Form, which can be obtained at the Business Office located in the 1400 building.
  2. $15 non refundable enrollment fee and the first installment of your quarterly tuition and fees by personal check, cash or credit card (Visa®, MasterCard®, Discover®, or AMEX®) along with your first payment.

What if my payment is late?

A late payment fee of $25 will be assessed for any payment not received by the 7th day of the month in which it is due.  If the 7th falls on a weekend or a holiday, payment must be received on the previous Friday to avoid the late fee.  An additional late payment fee of $25 will be assessed every 7 days until balance is paid in full.
