High school students and their parents are invited to attend a free college and financial aid information evening at Big Bend Community College.
The event, scheduled for Tuesday, October 9, is open to all high school students and their families. It will be held at ATEC, Building 1800 on the BBCC campus, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Representatives from several colleges and universities will be available for questions and discussion. Those represented include BBCC, CWU, EWU, Gonzaga University, Heritage University, WSU, WSU Tri-Cities, UW, Western Washington University, The Art Institute of Seattle, Northwest University, Trinity Lutheran College and Whitworth College.
A financial aid information session is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Important information regarding filing for federal financial aid will be provided during this session for high school seniors planning to attend any college or university beginning in the fall of 2008.
The event is sponsored by the Washington Council for High School College Relations.
