Jerry Workman, M.Ed, Director, holds a Masters Degree in School Counseling from Seattle Pacific University, Bachelor's Degree from Western Washington University, Vocational Directors Certification from Eastern Washington University, Special Education endorsement from Portland State University. Jerry has been a high school counselor for over thirty years and done extensive research and program design at both the local and state level in the areas of school to work and career education. His areas of expertise include: program development and management, career and academic advising, scholarship/financial aid advising and workshop design. Pat Sanders, MPA, Academic Advisor/Learning Strategist, holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree with emphasis in Multi-Cultural Studies and Counseling from The Evergreen State College. Pat has worked in both College Bound and Student Support Services. Custodio Valencia, BA, Tutorial Program Coordinator/Academic Advisor, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish & Counseling from Eastern Washington University. Custodio is an alumnus of Big Bend Community College as well as a successful former participant of the BBCC TRIO Student Support Services and College Bound programs. Cheryl Brischle, AAS, Tutor Coordinator and Program Assistant, holds an Associate in Applied Science from BBCC in Office Information Technology. She has three years experience in financial aid where she specialized in student employment. Her areas in Student Support Services include coordinating tutor sessions (group and individual) and assisting students with financial aid and scholarship forms.
