Job Skills Program
Do you need training for your employees to prevent dislocation or to stay more competitive within your industry? Are you opening a new facility or expanding an existing company and need training for new employees? Do you have opportunities for advancement in your company if the employees had more training?
If you answered yes to any of these questions than you may be eligbile for a matching grant program to help your new or existing employees gain the skills needed to excel in your industry. The Job Skills Program (JSP) funds industry-education partnerships to deliver customized, short-term and job-specific training.
The Job Skills Program is a commitment by the State of Washington to extend its education and training resources so that Washington employers will be provided with a well-trained and skilled workforce. Grants are awarded to education and training institutions that enter into partnerships with employers.
