The Central Washington Job Oriented Business Strategies (J.O.B.S) Project, formerly the Operations Task Force, is a group of local leaders from businesses and the community. The goal of the project is to assist businesses in creating a workforce that is adequately trained, fill positions in a timely and cost effective manner, and support training programs that provide the necessary skills set. They also strive to assist potential employees in understanding career pathways, gaining skills needed to obtain family wage jobs, and clearly understanding the training programs available to them.
The Central Washington J.O.B.S Project established its goals based on input fromlocal area businesses and partners. They are able to identify address local labor issues by combining the efforts of business, education and the community.
