Big Bend Community College, Center for Business and Industry Service is the area leader in workforce training. Big Bend Community College has provided education to Central Washington and the Columbia Basin since 1962. We provide the resources for continuous learning and workforce development by being responsive to the changing needs of our community. From basic skills to strategic planning, we offer affordable training for a competitive world.
Our programs and classes are designed for those who need to obtain new skills, enhance their current skill set, or obtain certifications and continuing education credits. We can also assess your training needs. Professional, technical or recreational, the Center for Business and Industry Services at Big Bend Community College is your first stop for training resources.
We offer a variety of training options:

Customized Training – Whether you are looking for new hire training services, incumbent worker training or post-training and assessment, we can customize the right training, right now. Our staff can target and acquire the curriculum, materials, and instructor to get the training done and on time. We even offer incentives in the form of tax credits and deferred training costs through the State of Washington, Department of Revenue.

Online Training – For individuals and businesses, learn from the comfort of your home, office or training room, anytime day or night. Instructor facilitated, instructor led and at your own pace, an option for every style of learning. We offer over 4000 subjects, from basic computer to programming, from Spanish language to computer language, safety training, writing skills, photography and more.

Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning - General courses of study are Computer Training, Business and Marketing, Leadership, Personal Enrichment, Home Improvement, Cooking, Art & Crafts, Fitness and recreation. What do you want to learn…?

Small Business Development Center – The SBDC is co-located with the Center for Business and Industry Services. The SBDC offers no-fee advising, training and technical assistance to small businesses. Assistance from an SBDC is available to anyone interested in improving, expanding or beginning a small business.

Training Facilities and Conference Space - On a professional level, Big Bend Community College has the perfect solution for training, meeting, conferences, and events when utilizing the Grant County Advanced Technologies Education Center (ATEC) Conference facility. The ATEC facility can meet all your technological needs, from computer labs to industrial classrooms, from presentations to video conferencing, in a friendly environment.
